Who We Are
Tessahealth is an outpatient psychiatry and therapy practice providing 100% telehealth care across IL, WA, OR, AZ, NM, MT, ND, and DE, with more states coming soon. We accept PPO commercial insurance (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, UHC, Oscar, Optum, and others), and our patients show high retention, consistent follow-ups, and stronger earnings for providers.
Our in-house patient support team is your dedicated admin staff, handling patient communications, scheduling, billing, insurance verifications, FMLA and disability forms, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination. You focus on patient care, with support any time you need it. That's the model.
Open Positions
Location: Remote, telehealth across IL, WA, OR, AZ, NM (additional states considered)
Compensation: Highly competitive and uncapped
Structure: 1099 independent contractor, fee-for-service. You earn a competitive percentage of collected insurance reimbursements for each patient you see. There is no cap to earnings. The exact split is negotiable and discussed during the interview based on your experience, caseload commitment, and number of active state licenses.
Bilingual Spanish speakers are strongly prioritized. We also encourage candidates who speak Vietnamese, Mandarin, Korean, Tagalog, or other languages to apply.
Licensees of other full practice authority states (NY, MN, NV, CO, etc) are also welcome to apply.

100% Telehealth
Work from anywhere you're licensed. No commute, no office overhead. See patients in multiple states with multistate licensure.
Schedule Control
Set your own hours and patient load. Full-time (8 to 15+ sessions per day, no cap) or part-time options available. Most providers settle into the 8 to 12 range.
Administrative Support
Your dedicated admin team handles all operations: patient communications, scheduling, billing, FMLA and disability paperwork, pharmacy issues, prior authorizations, and more. You focus on clinical care.
Technology
DrChrono EHR, Google Workspace (fully HIPAA compliant), AI Scribe and productivity tools, secure telehealth platform, e-prescribing tools, clinical reference resources, and hands-on training.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Work alongside in-house PMHNPs and therapists. Our combined treatment model (psychiatry + therapy under one roof) is a core part of how we deliver care.
Qualifications
Required
-
MSN, DNP, or post-master's certificate in PMHNP from an accredited program

Current, unrestricted APRN license in one or more of our hiring states (IL, WA, OR, AZ, NM, UT, CO)

Board certification as a PMHNP-BC

Proficiency with electronic health records

Professional malpractice insurance
Preferred

Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, or other second language

Licensure in multiple hiring states, especially those with full practice authority

Active DEA registration with controlled substance prescribing ability

2+ years clinical psychiatric experience (strong new graduates also considered)

Experience with adults, teens 13+ (child/adolescent experience ages 6+ is a plus)

Experience with MAT/opioid use disorder treatment
