Frequently Asked Questions
Most patients with insurance pay $20 to $50 per visit. Your cost depends on your plan's copay, deductible, and coinsurance. We verify your benefits and go over all of this before your first appointment so you know what to expect.
Self-pay rates are available for patients without insurance or who prefer not to use their benefits. Call us at 888-813-3543 for current rates.
We accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, Optum, Anthem, and Carelon Behavioral Health. Before your first appointment, our team contacts your insurance company to verify your coverage, check your copay, and confirm whether any approvals are needed.
Not sure if your plan is covered? Call us at 888-813-3543 and we will check for you.
Your first visit is a psychiatric evaluation. Your provider will ask about your symptoms, medical history, past treatments, and personal goals. You will then work together to build a treatment plan that may include medication, therapy, or both. First appointments are 60 minutes by video. Follow-up visits are typically 30 minutes.
Medication is one option, not the only option. Your provider will talk through what makes sense for your situation. If medication is part of your treatment plan, your provider monitors your progress and makes adjustments as needed to make sure you are getting results. If you are looking for therapy without medication, we offer that too. Dennis Delfosse, LCPC, CCBT provides individual therapy for adults.
All appointments are by secure video. You can meet with your provider from anywhere in a state where we are licensed. You will receive a link before your appointment. All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera. We are licensed to practice psychiatry and therapy in Illinois, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, North Dakota, and Delaware.
