ADHD Testing
We use a series of assessments to measure attention, impulsivity, and how you process and manage daily tasks. We also review your symptoms, your history, and how they're affecting your life. The goal is a clear diagnosis so your treatment starts in the right place.
We combine clinical interviews with ADHD-specific testing tools to get a complete picture. If the results confirm ADHD, we move right into building a treatment plan. If ADHD isn't the answer, the evaluation still gives us a clearer direction for what's going on.
Many patients arrive after being treated for ADHD without formal testing, or after being treated for anxiety or depression when ADHD was the underlying issue. A proper evaluation sorts out what's really going on so the right treatment can start.
Frequently Asked Questions
Most of our patients pay between $20 and $50 per visit with insurance. We accept most major PPO plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Oscar, Optum, Oxford, and UMR.
If you're not sure whether your plan is covered, call us at 888-813-3543 and we'll check for you before your first visit.
Your first visit is a full psychiatric evaluation, usually around 60 minutes. Your provider will ask about your symptoms, medical history, past treatments, medications, and what's going on in your life right now. By the end of that visit, you'll have a clear picture of the plan going forward.
It depends on what's going on and what treatment looks like for you. Some patients notice changes within the first few weeks of starting or adjusting medications, but finding the right fit can take time. Your provider monitors your progress closely and makes adjustments along the way rather than waiting months between visits.
No need for a referral. You can get started by booking a free consultation through our website or by calling 888-813-3543. Most patients are seen within a few days of reaching out.
