How I Can Help
I specialize in psychiatric evaluations and medication treatments for anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, postpartum depression, eating disorders, and other complex conditions in adults and teens, along with mental health assessments and ADHD testing. I provide comprehensive diagnosis and ongoing treatment based on your symptoms, history, and goals. I take care of FMLA, disability forms, and insurance verification so you can focus on getting better. I speak English, Tagalog, and Spanish. I offer flexible telehealth appointments and stay in close contact between visits. My goal is to help you find treatments that work.
My Approach
I listen carefully to understand how your symptoms impact your daily life. During treatment, I prescribe medications and use therapy techniques that can begin working right away. I monitor your progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure you're getting results. My team handles FMLA forms and insurance issues while we work on your progress together. I believe everyone deserves a provider who gives them time and attention. Our work is guided by your current symptoms, past experiences, and personal goals.
As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the cultural pressures and stigma that impact immigrant families. I work with people from all backgrounds, including healthcare workers, veterans, and active-duty service members dealing with burnout, PTSD, and the pressures of their work. I welcome and affirm LGBTQ+, transgender, and nonbinary patients.
I received my training at Northern Kentucky University. I focus on ADHD, trauma, eating disorders, and postpartum mental health. I stay current on the latest treatments and medications so my patients have access to the most effective options available.
Your First Appointment
When we meet for the first time, we'll talk about your symptoms, your history, and what you want to get out of treatment. I'll ask about what's been tried before, what helped, and what didn't. By the end of that appointment, you'll have a clear treatment plan, and we'll have discussed whether medication, therapy, or both make sense for you.
Most of my patients see me every two to four weeks after that first visit, and we adjust the schedule based on how things are going. My team handles any insurance or pharmacy issues that come up between visits, so you can stay focused on your treatment.
